Tips for the Novice Transsexual
by Aaron Kendall
Tips for both
- Immediately after surgery, it is a common mistake for you to use the bathroom that you would have used as your previous self. As a tip, remember to look at the picture on the bathroom door and ask yourself Am I wearing the dress? or Am I wearing the pants?
(For the new women, this question can be a bit tricky, since women can wear pants. If you are still frequently walking into the man's bathroom and are insistant about wearing pants, I would recommend wearing a dress over the pants temporarily as "psychological training wheels".)
- If you have children in your life, try to address your new change around them with sensitivity. Expressions like whacked off my dick or got me a new schlong might be too graphic for some children.
- When purchasing the sex change from a clinic, you should be sure to set up some sort of personal payment plan. You should not bill the sex change on a credit card, as it might cause a scene someday when an institution does a credit check on you. The phrase Complete Sex Change might not sit well with the conservative banker crowd when they review your records.
- Remember that even though your body has changed, your psychology is just as intact as it was before you allowed someone to hack away at your private parts.
Enjoy your new self!
