Cliché Argument Translations

Cliché Argument #4: Well, I'll have you know that your precious little freedom is the cause of many deaths, like gun-shot victims and overdose victims.
Implicit Translation: Find the short-term and most obvious answer to a problem. People get shot: take away the guns. People overdose on drugs: take away the drugs. People eat too much: put a toll gate up in each person's esophagus. People think self-destructive thoughts: scoop out everybody's brain.
Literal Translation: Being a misanthropic cynic, I find the idea of people being free to be quite atrocious...oh, and by the way, you're one of those freedom-loving, optimistic people. Bastard.
