World of Coca-Cola
Today, we bestow the Self-Gratification Award to the first museum. This is perhaps the world's greatest museum, but definitely contains the most free beverages of any dopey modern art museum. And take our word for it, the tuti-fruity Coke from Thailand is a hell of a lot easier on the pallet than most modern art is on the eyes.
It's actually quite inspiring to see the timeline of Coke, and to see how it was started by a single person, and begun to be really marketed by another, and then gradually became the international symbol it now is. You can also watch many of the old commercials, see all the rip-offs of Coke that appeared throughout the years (e.g. Pepsi), and buy every product known to man with a Coke logo stamped on it.
So next time you're in Atlanta, remember to do two things: Eat some fried green tomatoes, and visit the World of Coca Cola.
