The Winner for August 8, 2001
|
TheSpark.com Web Toys
Today's award winner is a three-for-one. That means you can waste three times the amount of time you can usually waste with our award winners.
These Web Toys are fun little web applications that do things like generate pick-up lines for you or automatically write you a school paper.
Here's a great sentence from the history paper I requested on the War of 1812:
"The Roman Declaration of 1915 that paved the way for the Communism Tax was a skillful event that almost rivaled War Of 1812 in terms of its democracy."
And here's one from an English paper on Tom Sawyer:
"Below, I will show that Tom Sawyer's Dadaist overtones and views on reason are not evidence of Twain's surrender to humanity. This claim is buttressed by three points: (1) the brilliant use of loss of innocence in Tom Sawyer, (2) Twain's reknown exploration of irony in the work, and (3) the author's use of human nature, showing the influence of the pre Colonialist school."
These make more sense than a lot of the crap I submitted myself. See what works of art you can create.
