Dying Artist Pays Tribute to Woman Who Inspired Him to Paint, Distracted Him From Painting
Spanish artist Ferdinand Santiago has announced that he will donate his life’s earnings to the school of art at the Universidad De Castilla-La Mancha.
Santiago’s donation will be placed in the name of his wife, Maria Ortega-Santiago, the woman who inspired him to paint over 60 years ago. Ortega-Santiago is also well known for having distracting Santiago from painting for nearly 70 years.
The university is looking forward to cashing Santiago’s check in the amount of $11.50.

Is this a real story? I looked up the artist, and I can’t find any references to him.
Yes, Santiago is known mostly for his unfinished work entitled, Damn, Is She Hot
