Dances with Donkeys
by Jason Roth
Kevin Costner meets Tarzan meets Ted Kennedy in this political-western, multi-generational epic about the genocide of, and eventual struggle for casino management by, America's only black-Native American tribe. The genocide is seen through the eyes of a half-white, half-black, adopted Native American named Dances with Donkeys, a mythological forefather of the modern Left. He learns the arts of scalping and donkey herding from a blind, pot-smoking Indian named Chief Horse Cock, and becomes accepted into their tribe as one of their own. He falls in love with Dripping Pussy, a medicine woman who cures his "fallen warrior" with a mixture of popcorn, peyote, and buffalo sperm.
The battle continues into modern times with Dances with Donkey's great-grandson, Bill Donkey, a trial attorney. Donkey brings suit against the state of New Mexico for failure to allow his great-grandfather's tribe the right to the state-funded construction of a casino resort. The jury awards Donkey's tribe reparations amounting to $500 million in slot machines, card tables, and other casino furnishings.
