Yeah, I hope so. I guess the best consolation is that I remember hearing Harry Binswanger say that in the 1960s, he and others thought they were witnessing the (immediately impending) disintegration of the United States. So, maybe that means things might get better in 15 years.

Ugh… All I can say is, lets try and stay alive long enough to pick up the pieces when the dust finally settles.
