Eliot Spitzer (for the record)

The ironic thing is that prostitution violates no one’s rights. We’re not talking about enslaved Thai schoolgirls here. But for the record (and for everyone who knows me, this will be obvious), this hypocritical bastard should live in shame the rest of his life.

On the other hand, he likely violated his marriage contract, assuming there are people out there who actually attach meaning to their words. Or is that ’til death do us part stuff and/or I hereby promise to try not to fuck other random women just a preamble to the cocktail weenies?

Finally, I can only hope, the endless “sadness” everyone is expressing over this loser (local Republican politicians included) will come to a grinding halt. Phony sadness for his wife and daughters, that I understand. But phony sadness for a decade of practicing what he’s prosecuted?

What if prostitutes started carrying video cameras with them, filmed the subsequent fucking, then sold the tape itself to the John?

Is there any chance that legislators would see that the only difference between (legal) pornography and (illegal) prostitution, is what precisely is being paid for?

My understanding is that the crux of the matter is that hookers charge the person for sex, whereas porn “performers” are paid by people OTHER than the one they will be fucking.

So if my uncle buys me a hooker for a night, is it still prostitution?

I like the camera idea - maybe a malfunctioning camera is good enough, too.

There used to be a bar/club in NYC where the owner told me he paid prostitutes to “hang out” at his club. “Instead of paying them, you pay me,” he said. And he only meant the drinks and cover charge.

By the way, I notice that she’s better than Monica Lewinsky.
